Project Overview
This project is part of FrameMind, a long-form YouTube documentary series created by Quiro & Jenna.
The series documents our journey while traveling and working across Asia, focusing on mindset, creativity, and intentional living rather than traditional travel content.
This episode captures our first stop in Indonesia: Bali.
Project Intent
This film was not created as a destination guide or promotional travel video.
The intention was to:
Observe rather than consume the place
Capture rhythm instead of highlights
Let conversations, pauses, and everyday moments lead the story
It reflects a slower, more conscious way of experiencing travel and life on the move.
Creative Direction
Documentary-first approach
Natural light, handheld movement, real moments
Minimal gear, small footprint
Sound design and music used to support emotion, not distract
The edit prioritizes feeling and flow over fast pacing or visual spectacle.
Production
Filmed on location in Bali during our first week in Indonesia
Shot across daily life, streets, rituals, cafés, and transitions
No scripted scenes or staged moments
Everything captured reflects real-time experience.
Post-Production
Narrative-driven edit built from observation
Emphasis on pacing, silence, and sound texture
Subtle music and sound design to enhance immersion
Color grading kept natural and grounded
Outcome
The video serves as:
A foundation piece for the FrameMind series
A creative statement about our approach to storytelling
A reference project for brands, collaborators, and future documentary work
Learnings
Slowing down creates stronger stories
Sound design is as important as visuals
Not everything needs to be explained — some moments just need space
This project reinforces our belief that meaningful storytelling lives between moments, not just in destinations.
